Using RSSM in BI 7.0 doesnu0092t give complete trace.

We have upgraded from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0. But we are still using obsolete authorization concept(we are not using any new feature of BI 7.0 for security and this setting is set in SPRO).

Problem we are facing over here is RSECADMIN trace does not work. It does not show any auth object. And when I try with RSSM. It does not give complete trace like it used to before upgrading.

If any body has faced this problem please suggest on this.

As I gather,

1.RSSM is not supported in BI 7.0

2. Can you try doing it with RSD1 and RSECADMIN flow,please.

- if you are using the old concept you should/must use the old tracing tool

- if you are using the new concept you must of course use the new one.

- a cross-combination does not work

I did not recognize any truncated trace with the old trace. Sorry. Perhaps you should submit a note, Madhav!

Hi,

when you execute a trace be carrefull with:

The executive user and executing user you put on the field. By default the same is entered.

When the query have no authorization variable you don't see any authorization check.
