batch determination for process order URGENT!!!!!!!!!!

All,

I have a strange situation.The condition in the selection criteria is Exp.date >10Days.But when the process order is released the batch is picked which has a past expiration date .what might have gone wrong?Please guide .Thanks

Hi

Please check the following settinf in the mvt type level.

In OMJJ, select movement type 261 (Goods issue for order), in details :<b>Enter control</b> sub screen, Check <b>SLExpire date filed</b>: the value should be : 1.Normally it will be 2.

Value 2 --> Enter

Value 1 --> Enter and Check

Thank you Ram for your reply.But i think i found the solution.What was happening was that the characteristic LOBM VFDAT didnt have any dependency .thats was the reason the system was picking up batches which were in the past.we had to update characteristics in IMG and it is showing dependency now and picking up proper batches.Thanks
