BI 7.0 Dump: ABAP/4 processor: ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT

Dear Friends,

Could any of u pl. provide me solution to above error. I am trying to load transaction data from flat file into BI 7.0

the problem is specific to unit characteristics 0unit & 0currency.

Data Source has following fields.

Production qty

0unit

production value

0currency.

I have created the said objects in cube as well, mapped IS to DS, then created transformation. everything works fine. But the loading fails.

could you pl. give ur inputs.

how many types of units and currencies you have.if you only one each ,assign them to InfoObject ,i mean when you create keyfigure itself assign .

What is the SP level u guys are on?

try reactivating ur transformations and DTP. And schedule ur DTP

did u try reactivating the transfomations and DTP and reschedule the load? try it and let me know if that works

SP12 is stable enough. we had these kind of issues on SP9. Yeah I know the error doesnt give much information other what you have specified.

Can you delete the DTP and recreate it again and try?
