Hello all,
I have smartform that has 2 pages
page 1 had window w1 that has data d1, d1 is constant and will be needed once
page2 has window w2 that has data d2 , d2 is constant and needed once
page2 has window w3 that has data d3, d3 is a table so it can span for more than one page,
w1 and w2 are secondary while w3 is main window.
i have page1 pointing to page 2
and page 2 pointing to itself,
but this is nt working,
can anyone suggest me something?
is it the case that a smartform can not have more then one main window?
do i need explicit command to next page or it will go on itself?
thanks,
RS
Hi Reena,
Always the contents of main window will continue to next pages when ever needed. & the contents of secondary window won't.
And in one smartform, we can only have one main window.
I think there is no need to put the pointers also from page to next page.
Try once removing the page continue pointers.
And also in your scenario, you can use only one page with 3 windows
first 2 windows as secondary & last window as main. (i have tried this, it works fine).
Rewards if found helpful.

Seema

Hi
In a page in SF, you can have a Main Window. i.e <b>One Main window / Page</b>.
Main window is the only window who's content can span multiple pages.
In your case, since Page 2 is itself the next page, you had set it right.
Do check the layout and other details.
