G//L Report Displays NO Budget Data

Hi Friends,

In one of my G/L report, i need to display Actual Data & Budget data.

Actual Data is coming from 0FIGL_C01 cube and Budget data coming from Flat File.

When i execute the query based on G/L Account, i'm getting all the data both for the Actuals & Budget.

But, when tried to execute based on Financial Statement hierarchy (0GLACCEXT),

i'm not getting any <b>budget</b> data.

Comments on this shall highly appriciated.

How do you say that you dont see the value for budget?

How do you bring in the budget data and how do you distinguish between actula and budget? usually value type is the char used for this; 10 for actual and 20 for budget. Check your flat file fields.

Sorry for misleading you, saying that <b>Budget Data</b> is NOT displaying with Financial Statement (0GLACCEXT) Hierarchy.

Actually, i'm getting the budget data into the report, but displaying under <b>Not Assigned Nodes</b> with Financial Statement (0GLACCEXT) Hierarchy.

What could be done to bring that budget data into actual nodes.

Hi,

Budget data is coming from Flat File.

with Fianancial Statement Hierarchy, Budget data is displaying under 'NOT ASSIGNED NODES'.

What needs to be done to dislay bugdet data under the nodes ?

you need to include the compounded object in ur flat file for budget data. if the system doesnt find the compounding object, it would place all the values under unassigned nodes

I already have 0CHRT_ACCT as compound object for 0GL_ACCOUNT in my budget data.

As 0GLACCEXT (Financial Statement Item) Hierarchy Coming from Virtual Cube, somewhere i'm missing logic to bring both Actuals & Budget in the same line with 0GLACCEXT in row.

for 0GL_ACCOUNT in row, my report is displaying both Actuals & Budget in the same line.

you need to differentiate actual and budget by value type.
