Hi Damiano

You can definitely have one Generic Sync and Smart Sync applications on the same device for the same user or for different users. This is not at all a restriction and is very much supported. MI has a restriction that Two Smart Sync based applications cannot run on the same device. For example MAM and MAU cannot be installed on the same device. The reason for this both MAM and MAU have some classes with the same name under the same package but with different methods in them. So this created a problem while class loading. So if you can also take care that no two classes have the same name in the same package, then yes you can have two smart sync applications also on the same deivce.

In short you can have more than one application on the same device and this is very much supported.

Hope this helps.

Hi Devendra

Here are my answers

1. Two applications for the same user: Yes this is possible

2. Two applications for two different users: Yes this is also possible.

Both the above statements hold good as long as you have taken care of the condition I had mentioned in my earlier post.

Well, in your scenario it is quite difficult for me to tell why it fails unless i some some pointers to the errors your are experiencing. What do you mean when you say page crashing??? But what i would suggest you is, instead of testing two apps on a PDA directly, try them out on Laptop client and when everything works fine as per the behaviour, then try it on PDA. The only problem i see is the memory contraint. I am not aware of any links that would guide you here.

Hope this helps.

Hi Damiano,

You cannot deploy two application on SAP MI Client as it is not supported and recommended.
