Hi,
I'm doing SRM210.
And i've stoped on step about (COMM_HIERARCHY transaction)
I have to add few product categories and there is wrtitten that there should be
R3MATCLASS hierarchy.
When I start COMM_HIERARCHY I can't find R3MATCLASS hierarchy.
What should I do ?
Regards,
Greg
Thanks for Atul.
I see that I have to build new hierarchy.
Maybe is there someone who created hierarchy with categories ??
Regargs,
Greg.

So
when i finish add new category I can't save.
There is written that "there are errors in hierarchy"
I fill all required fields but I still can't do that.
As I said before transaction "smoaec" doesn't work don't know why,
so my last chance is to build my own hierarchy.

Greg

Regarding product category Hierarchy ->
If you are working locally in EBP:
You can use transaction COMM_HIERARCHY to create new hierarchies and subsequent categories.
If you are working with backend R/3:
When you will replicate customizing objects DNL_CUST_PROD1 the R/3 matl groups will be replicated as product categories.
If you are working with CCM:
You can create schema and subsequent categories in master and procurement catalogs as per yr supplier catalogs.
For using Product Cat.\Vendor\Contract hierarchy activate follwing before any data replication in EBP .
SRM SPRO Path
Spro->SRM Server->Cross. App.->Activate Hierarchies for Product Categories, Vendors, and Contract .
Incase nothing helps, then manually Create a Hierarchy as a last option.
Do let me know.

Hi
You have defined the product categories for which you wish to use the classic scenario and you have maintained this at product category level using transaction COMM_HIERARCHY.
First, You need to create R3MATCLASS manually.

If you are in classig/extended classic scenario you need to replicate the Material Groups using CRM Middleware, this will create it.
Otherwise you need to create the hierarchy manually in this transaction
