Reporting Integration

My client will have the majority of their data in EC, but a small amount of employee data in other systems (for employees outside of the UK). Is it possible to integrate this data into any form of reporting with SF? The client hasn't yet decided whether to stick with Reporting or go with WFA so any information on either would be greatly appreciated.
