Information about SAP Tutor license wanted

Dear all,

Together with SAP Solution Manager comes the license to order and use SAP Tutor, the player can be used by all users, but the recorder can only be used by 'five named users'. I was wondering how this works. Does the Tutor come with five user ID's for the recorder/editor? Or do the five users each have to order and register for themselves specifically? And what if one of those five leaves the company and his/her license has to be transferred to another user?

Hopefully someone can help shed more light on this.

Dear Kathryn,

SAP Tutor is now available for SAP Solution Manager customers.

The SAP Tutor is available without further costs (included in the

standard SAP maintenance fee for non-commercial use) for SAP customers

with a SAP Solution Manager and at least one other productive SAP

product.

In this case, the license is valid for the use of SAP Tutor for the

training of SAP products only and includes five users to develop

training materials (with the SAP Tutor authoring tool). The SAP Tutor

player can be used by all your employees having a SAP user license.

The SAP Tutor authoring tool can of course also be used for non-SAP

applications and with more than five training developers with a regular

SAP tutor license. For all pricing-related information please contact

What I found so far is that once you order the software from SAP, the five users will have to register before they can use the editor/recorder.
