Access via NULL object reference not possible., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM

Hi guys,

I would appreciate your help for the following problem:

I configured some iViews in a Portal (for <b>ESS</b>).

[ERP 2005 – NetWeaver 04s (NW04s); ECC 6.0; EP 7.0 (Enterprise Portal) ]

Trying to call the iView (edit & review) @personal Information

--> Addresses

--> Bank Information

--> or Personal Data

I get the following error:

<b>Access via NULL object reference not possible., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE</b>:

I can actually SEE my data, "edit" it, and when I click "review", I always get the error message.

Can anyone please help me with this problem? Any idea, what I have to do?

I wrote somewhere in sdn, I should check the RFC-Role for ESS-User. How and where can I do that?

What else should I check?

Habe mir die SAP Note angeschaut. Allerding kann ich mit der Solution

"Code changes were done in ESS adapter to handle this scenario" nichts anfangen.

Kannst Du mir irgendwie weiterhelfen?

Du musst die Korrekturanleitung aus dem Hinweis in Dein HR System einbauen bzw. einbauen lassen.

english:

You have to realise the correction described in the sap note by yourself or by someone from the basis team.
