Hello,
we are using a NW04s Portal with SPS12 and like to implement search functionalitiy for KM repositories. But we don't want to use TREX, but instead
we'd like to integrate the google enterprise search (Google Search Appliance).
1) Is this technical possible?
2) Is there any documentation / blogs / how-to doc's available?
Thank you in advance for any hints.
Kind regards,
Annike
Hi,
To enable public search engines, such as Google, to index portal content, provide the search engine with the following URL:
irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.utilities.tools.portalspider.SpiderWebInterface?
But only anonymous content is indexed.

Santhosh

Hi Mario
Normally to Integrate any search engine as web page we use URL Iview's, for eg: I want to use Google in my portal. so I can create a URL Iview & provide URL link as "http://www.google.com".
