Sales area Button in BP

I am trying to create a BP(Organization) and assign a Sales Area for the BP in the Role Sold to Party. But when I try to assign a Sales Area to the BP through the Button 'Choose Sales Area' But the Button is in Display Mode and not in Change mode and it says that 'Sales Area not Maintained'. Is there any way to make the Button Enabled to assign Sales Area to the BP.

Hi Krish,

Please maintain your sales org details in PPOCA_CRM and then try to maintain the sales area data.

For the Sales area button to be enabled, the Organizational model needs to be maintained.

Please check the same in PPOSA_CRM transaction. If there is no model maintained, you need to create one.

If Sales area button is disabled inspite of the Organizational model being maintained, then check the attributes for the organization unit and ensure that the attribute "Tupel (distribution channel, division)" is maintained.

Hi,

I went to the Transaction. But that Distribution Channel Attribute is not Visible in the Transaction. When I went to the Transaction OOATTRCUST, the Attribute D_CHANNEL is made Invisible and I am not able to change that also. Is there any way I can make this attribute visible.

Hi Krish,

You can assign distribution channel and division in the Function tab as well for scenario sales.Put in the tick for sales organization and enter the sales organization of R/3 using F4.

And below you can see the distribution channel and division check out there F4 and assign values. In case no values can be seen there carry out initial load of object DNL_CUST_S_AREA.

After this run regenerate index using Tcode:CRMD_INDEX_OM and CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE.

Can you please tell me how to run the Initial Load of the Object DNL_CUST_S_AREA because I do not have any F4 Values for Organization.

Hi Krish,

1. Do you have the backend R/3 system.If yes it appears that no sales org has been maintained in the R/3 system

Check in R/3:

Tcode: SPRO

Enterprise Structure->Definition->Sales and Distribution->Define, copy, delete, check sales organization.

2. DNL_CUST_S_AREA is used to get only the distribution channel and division.

Tcode: R3AS

Put the adapter object and press enter and execute.

The disribution channel and division can be seen in

Customer Relationship Management-->Master Data->Organizational

Management

A. Division Settings->Define Divisions

B. Organizational Data for Sales Scenario-->Define Distribution Channels

Hi,

1. Go to transaction sm30

2. Open T77OMATTR in display mode.

3. Select SALE and go to Attributes/Scenarios.

4. Now go to the detail of attributes IS_SA_GRP, IS_SA_OFF and

IS_SA_ORG.

There you will see that Flag is not checked for 'Simulated'. For

Enhanced model it should be checked. Check the checkbox for all the

three attributes and then run the report

HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE.
