in mapping fields that are not used for mapping

Hi all,

i am in support project , i do have fields that are not in mapping but still they get data after the interface , i hope i am in basic please explain me

What is your issue/problem?

That there is data in the fields?

Check for constants in mapping.

Open message mapping and click select all mapping.

There maybe susbequent processing after mapping.

Check the technical and functional documents (if available)

sorry iwas not clear , actually my target system is flat file , where in mapping i dont find any mapping for that particular field for example the same fields are avilable in header and line and schline please explain me clearly

Check in the File adapter for the file content conversion.

Again, check you technical and functional specification which SHOULD have this detailed.
