Hi,
I am new to XI ( I have started just 3 weeks back). I was testing a service and I am getting HTTP 401 Unauthorized error. I read through the forums and it stated that I have to access transaction su01 and check for xiappluser rights to see if he has SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role. I wanted to know how to access transaction su01 transaction.Kindly help me in this regard.
Thanks,
Regards,
Kiran
Hi,
1) This might cause due to wrong permissions.
2)Try with this Login XIISUSER
3)Tcode SICF -> Default_host -> sap -> xi
( Check right password for the user id )
4) Check the note 764176

Kir,
HTTP 401 Unauthorized error signifies either the username or the password is wrong or you dont have sufficinet privileges to run the service. So either you have admin roles or use any of the service user like PIISUSER or PISUPER etc and run once again. Then you should be able to run your service.

Log onto abap stack and run transaction su01.
Otherwise, go into http://system.fqdn:5<sysno>/useradmin and try to add the role in there
