Vendor Replication Problem

Hi All,

We have a problem in Vendor Replication from ECC to SRM .

we execute BBPGETVD to get the vendors in to SRM system . after that we run BBPUPDVD to update the existing vendors information but our problem is

When we run BBPGETVD and if we see the SRM system the vendors are not replicated to SRM . i dont see any error message or log as it says completed successfully .I am in search of SAP Note on this .

I would highly appreciate if some one could help me in this . Who had faced vendor replication problems.

Hi,

does this problem come with an upgrade?

Perhaps you migrate the vendors into vendor groups!

Goto transaction ppomv_bbp, if there are no entries the migration is still missing!

You have to use report 'BBP_XPRA_ORGEH_TO_VENDOR_GROUP' to move the vendors from Org-Units to Vendorgroups!

After this you can use the reports 'BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB' and

' BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB' for replication and updating.

I appreciate your quick reply . we are havinng problem in replicating vendors into SRM not with config .

We are expecting the standard T code BBPGETVD should replicate all vendors from ECC to SRM , is there any sap not that could apply to solve this standard problem ??

i have found few sap notes on this but wanted to know is there any perfect note some body knows .

What version of SRM you are using?

Check tables VENMAP and BUT000. see if any vendor records are there.

Also check number range for Business partners. See if external number range matches your backend vendor numbers. Also see if internal number ranges are maintined.

Did you gt any message like "already exist in the system..." etc when you run BBPGETVD?

Pradeep,

Go to transaction <u><b>SLG1</b></u> to check the log of the vendor transmission. To narrow down your search, give the appropriate date, userid, Program.

Program "SAPLBBP_BUPA_VR" is used for vendor transmission. This Tcode will displaye the error/warning message encountered while transfering the vendor.

As previously mentioned by Jagadish, table VENMAP, BUT000 and <u><b>Tcode "BP"</b></u> will display the vendor that are successfuly transmitted to SRM.

Hi Jagadish and Venkatesh

Our Functional person runs the BBPGETVD transaction and he checks the tables which you both mentioned .

The problem is when he runs the transaction he dont see the vendors in SRM which are new in backend and some times even runs the BBPUPDVD to update the vendors and even that also not updates from backend ECC.

We already checked the Log also and we dont see any error message or any thing ,it says successful completion .

He noticed from the past few days it is happening previously it was few vendors which are not replicated but now its happening and it is stopping business. I came across taht SAP note could apply to solve this .

we are using SRM 4.0 and I appreciate all your help in this .
