B.P Duplication

Hi ,

I have already created BP with some details like address,sales area.Now suppose I want to create a BP with same details as previous BP Then system should give a message/warning that a BP with same details already created.

I can create a new BP with same details by giving different no,but I donot want to create a BP with same details.

Can anyone send details how to avoid a BP duplication creation.

Hello,

You need to implement badi: ADDRESS_SEARCH.

In method ADDRESS_SEARCH (same name) you can search duplikates .

If you will find some then just popup to the user and let him to take an action.

Hi,

You can implement badi: ADDRESS_CHECK or BUPA_ADDR_CHECK

To check if already duplicate details for BP exist or not and can accordingly take action.

Hi,

Duplicate check is not by standard supported for business partner.

SAP delivers the interface and these interfaces have to be implemented by certified third party tools.
