unable to connect to SAP WEB AS

Hi all,

Even though I specified correct J2EE Engine settings in the windows>Preferences>SAP J2EE Engine settings. The remote sever is not connecting..

Hi Pradeep..

First check your Connection with admin whether server is available now or not..

And also check Your host and Port no whether is it correct...

hi,

check whether u gave correct Host Name & Port Number....then restart your j2ee engine once.....

Are you able to ping from cmd prompt?

Check by mistake any single space entered?

What is the message Port you entered?

I am unable to Ping it?

But, I am able to access the HTTP port pages?

Hi Pradeep,

That should be able to ping from cmd prompt.

Add RemoteServerIP and HostName to the host file .(system32\drivers\etc ).

hi Pradeep ,

This is happening because of the firewall settings of your box disable it and everything will work also check the firewall settings of the remote J2EE.

Unfortunately people dont read the problem before replying

otherwise the problem was quite evident and the answer would have been prompter
