proc type

I want to default Procurement type=F (MRP 2 view) in material master for material type :packaging.

The default value is X.

I treid to copy material type:ROH but again its taking proc type=X.

pl guide.

Hi VS,

In material type you have INTERNAL ORDERS & EXTERNAL ORDERS, if this material type is for external orders only & internal order is set to "0" you will always get procurement type F.

Hi,

You create a MRP Profile in MMD1 tcode.

In that select the field for proc type as you wish

and choose default or fixed.

Assign this profile during material master creation.

or else proc type is prest during material type definition.
