Hi,
A datasource has been changed in SAP R/3.
A load of master data failed in BW because the time stamp was different in BW and in the source system.
In order to correct that, I have replicated the datasource in BW Development.
I have activated the Transfer Rules and I did a transport to BW Production.
Do I still need to replicate the datasource in BW Production?
Is there anything else that I need to do?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Linda

Hi,
1) Import the change request of DS in PROD R/3.
2) Replicate the DS into PROD BIW
3) Now Import the change request of Transfer rules in PROD BIW.
Above sequence you need to follow.

Thank you for your reply.
In fact, I did the following:
1) Import the change request of DS in PROD R/3.
2) Import the change request of Transfer rules in PROD BIW.
Do I need to replicate the datasource first in BW Production and import the change request of the transfer rules again?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Linda
Hi Linda,
Replicate the DataSource in Production and with that there is a chance of getting Transfer rules inactive ..
You cannot activate tranfer rules directly in Production..
Execute the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL in TCode: SE38 by mentioning the respective infosource name..then you are all set..
if it helps assign points..
Thanks
Sai
