Workbooks and variables malfunctions

hi everybody!!!

I have a Select Option Variable (BW release 7.0) that works in a weird way: when user opens a Workbook and sets a range of values on this variable, i.e. from A to Z, the output in query is not for the range we set! it's a different range, like "C to Z" and not "A to Z".

user must include A and B manually to have the reaminig data.

can anyone hel me? .(
