Hi this is lakshmi here, i've got one problem when creating the cube. i've created my own SALES CUBE and have taken the defination (all info objects) of existing ODS. Im getting all info objects except the local currency (0LOC_CURRCY). And i tried in other way. i.e., have seen where the local currency been used(in other infocubes) and taken that definition also in my cube and deleted all other objects which i dont want and i found there that local currency unit is been related to the amt of local currency key figure in that cube. if i take that key figure and leave with out matching with others in update rules. but i think that the local currency in this case is not useful for my reporting purpose, because that is related to amt of key fig. pl give me the possibilitis how can i get the local currency in my cube and give me some idea of why im not getting that in my cube from ods?????????/

Because this IO is not avialable in the ODS. You take it manually in the cube by inserting the KF which has the 0LOC_CURRENCY as Unit.

If you donot want to have any KF with 0LOC_CURRENCY as Unit , donot take those KF into cube and activate the Cube.

one more doubt

if we dont map the local currency key fig to any one can we use the unit local currency further in cube because it is related to key fig and we r not using it.

just give me a clear idea no please.............
