JCO Destination - Message Server

When defining the JCO Destination for Virsa CC, I encounter an error stating that the "MsgServerName", "SystemName", and "LogonGroupName" is not defined. I noticed on step 4.2 (Msg. Server Connection) that when I select the Message Server to the system that I'm trying to connect to, the option to select the Logon Group remains ghosted; and the system name does not default in.

All checks of the SLD seem to imply that all is good.

I'm configuring this JCO Destination to support a connection to another SAP system. The destinations for the system that host CC works fine.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Does the system to which you are trying to create JCo destinations show up in the SLD with all of those grayed out parameters defined?

Thanks Eric. The manaully push in the SLD Local Directory Admin did the trick. The values are not showing during the definition of the JCO

I have a similar problem with Create new JCo destination

When I get to step 4.2, I have no choices available in the Message Server drop down list, I can not manual insert any characters and the System name and Logon name are grayed out. If I skip this step, I receive the same three messages:

Message Server name is not defined

System name is not defined

Logon group is not defined.

I should note I have changed the Admin password recently and discovered that I needed to change SLDDSUSER to connect to the SLD. Is there a similar change related to the Message Server required? If so, are there others?

If not, any suggestions.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have no idea what you mean by "XCM administration". I am developed an application using Web Dynpro for Java.

I would appreciate a clearer description of what I need to do.

Thanks.
