Web access VS GUI

hi gurus,

i need some infomration about SAP Gui application and the Web access to the sap systems. Could you please provide me with some documentation about Web? I am looking to gather information for Web based access the the sap systems i need to have some documentation. What kind of components are disabled in the Web version and so on. If you just have some information about this or documentation about that i will be glad if you share it with me

Hi,

You can use SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS). Until SAP WAS release 6.20 it needed to be used as separate installation. But from Netweaver 2004 (WAS 6.40) onwards it's integrated with ABAP stack. End-user can access SAP via their Web-browser (IE, Firefox etc) through ITS.
