Hi,
Can any one tell me why master data cannot be deleted even though it is not been used any where.. Other than maintain master data is there any other method to delete master data?
Hi
Please check whether you hard coded some values of this specific master data in any of the reports...If you hard coded the values in reports, you need to delete these values from queries, then try..
Eventhough these master data is used in any data targets, you can still delete the data from the master data tables..but should not be hard coded in reports.
if it is not used in any of the reports you can be able to delete the master data in maintain master data.
cheers
Sunil

Hi Samruddhi,
If master data is not used then definitely it could be deleted via delete master data , put where used list on master data ,and find out for all transactional data targets there is no request exists.
Hope that helps.
