hi atish,

am trying to modify the item text ( bill service description) based on the condition type in the invoice. i have been given the pgm RNASTED to be make necessary changes after copying it. whenevrer u process the item text comes automatically. now i have to change it based on condition.......

use create_text function module or save_text function module..

i am not sure rsnasted will work,i did same kind of req for sales order ,i used user exit..

search user exit in Idoc function module - search term would be call customer function..

yours should be inbound

so check with IDOC_INPUT_inv* in se37 or look at WE64 Transaction..

i checked with

IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM.and function idoc_input_invoic_fi.

there are no customer functions. should i try using this exit with standard program of vf02. pls reply

You should probably look at the descriptions of the segments or the documentation of the message type in WE60 transaction.
