does BI7 web report require EP and ADS?

We are upgrading our BW 3.5 system to BI 7.0 system. we are wondering if we convert our web templates from 3.5 to 7.0, does it mean we will have to use BI 7.0 web reporting (old 3.5 web reporting won't work anymore)? if so, do we have to use the BI Java stack, i.e. EP for that?

2nd question, is PDF printing a nice feature to have for BI web report or it's a must have?

After migration, the BW 3.x version of a web application is still available in the SAP BW 3.x BEx Web Application Designer. The old version will still appear in the open dialog of the BW 3.x Web Application Designer. Migration can be done as many times as need since old web applications are not deleted.

After saving with the SAP NetWeaver 2004s BEx Web Application Designer, the migrated version of a web application can no longer be used in the SAP BW 3.x BEx Web Application Designer. Migrated versions will not appear in the open dialog of the old BW 3.x Web Application Designer.

Yes you need EP ,JAVA usage type for nw2004s WAD and ADS for ADOBE printing
