What are Encrypted Adapters and where are they used?

Hi Ashish,
Theres nothing called as encrypted adapters.
Itz basically there are certain adapters which support encryption .
You can use those adapters to define transport level security(HTTPS/FTPS) and message level security (encryption).

In my view encrypted adapters are used in case of B2B scenario where data needs to be transfered from one conpany's boundry to another. Here organizations looks for security of data and in that case encrypted adapters can be used.

Refer the below link, in the bottom of the page you can find the adapters which is capable of encryption. I think these adapters are encrypted adapters.
