What does "Planned for Portfolio" mean?

Many of the ideas I have submitted to have recently been changed to a status of "Planned for Portfolio", but I can't find a definition of this status anywhere.

What does this mean? Should I be happy or sad?

Where exactly did you see such status?

I haven't seen it on the SCN ideas. If you're talking about other SAP products then, well, Leonardo is a "portfolio", so I guess this means SAP marketing is waiting to come up with a clever name to market this under. Or maybe this is the SAP code word for "sweep under the rug", dunno.

It'd help if you posted more specific information. And you can actually post a comment on the Idea Place itself to ask what that means.

Thanks for the reply, Jelena.

Yes, I think it might actually be "swept under the rug", but that name just didn't fly.

No, these aren't SCN ideas, but rather BusinessObjects.

Here's three of mine that were changed recently:

and a view of all of them in the Semantic Layer - General category:

Where can you post a comment on Idea Place? I was not able to find such an area.

When you are logged in to Idea Place, there are two ways to place a comment:

1. To the idea itself.

2. To an existing comment as a reply.

I marked both options with red (the second one is probably not very intuitive).

I am not 100% sure, but I think 'Planned for portfolio' is not a bad news. I would place it somewhere between Accepted and Delivered.

Anyway, I see that there is one more way to request information about Idea Place - there is an e-mail address for contacting in case of questions here:

Ah, yes, I'm aware of how to submit comments to Ideas. I thought Jelena was referring to submitting comments on the general Ideas site, rather than on a specific Idea.

Thank you both.

Yes, I meant to add a comment on the idea itself. Sorry it wasn't clear.

Our of curiosity I checked and there are 23 ideas currently with this status. Some are dated 2011. That's a lot of "planning"... But I hope yours is delivered eventually.
