Programming techniques in MDM

Hi All

I am having background of ABAP & XI but new to MDM

Can you please let me know which programming languages are used in MDM. Does it require ABAP, JAVA ? Or is it configuration based ?

Hi Mugdha,

MDM is a Data Management Tool and hence needs no programming knowledge as such.

But it will be helpful if you know Java, as it can be useful in case the scenario requires the use of MDM Java APIs.

MDM requires a bit of functional knowledge and it will be an added advantage to know XI, as MDM requires XI for sending and receiving data from the other systems.
