Apprasials : Appraiser from Org Structure

Dear All,

Business requirements : System should pick the Apprasier hierarchy from the Org Strucutre. i.e. Apraisee's reporting officer should be set as his first level of apprasier, a level above the reporting officer should be set as the second apprasier.

Is there any standard configurtion for achieving this?

Are you using the Appraisal system or Objective setting and appraisal (in newer versions)?

It's easier to set this in OSA than in older appraisal system. It will be easier to set it up if you have an evaluation path that can trace each appraiser.

Dear Manish,

I am on ECC6.0 and have set the HAP00 REPLA - 'A' to enable OSA.

I can see the Evaluation Path options in <b>'Edit Form for Appraisals'</b> but not getting how to set it up. Do you have any config guide or steps for this.

Hi Gulsan

Since OSA is enabled, don't use the IMG under Appraisal System (it also has "Edit form of appraisal). Use the MAINTAIN TEMPLATE. It will bring you to a totally different settings screen relevant to OSA.

I am using OSA>>Edit Templates or Appraisal Systems>>Edit Appraisals Catalog, to create new templates.

To take care of the org str issue...I am planning to upload the apriasee list through LSMW and extract their reporting officer form Org Strucuter in LSMW.

Another query...I have defined 10 objectives and assigned 1-10 scale to each of them.

Is it feasible to get the TOTAL of all the objectives. This is to see how much each appraiser has given the apraise out of 100.

Hello Gulshan,

The sap delivered default Appraiser BADI (HRHAP00_DOC_DEF_D1) automatically defaults the appraiser to be the manager of the appraise. The manager will be automatically read from Org structure in OM.

You have to ensure that this default appraiser BADI, is being called in the template. You can check that by clicking on "Further Template Behaviour" under Processing tab of Template configuration.

Regarding your second question, (Find the overall rating from each individual goal ratings) is very much possible. You have to use Value Determination Badi at the Template (VA). There are some standard Value determinatin BADI implementations delivered sap. I beleive one of them will satisfy your requirement. Otherwise you have to create a custom implementation.

I have executed the transaction PHAP_CREATE_PA. and i have found the

manager being defaulted .

But i would like to know what is the relationship it being maintained. I have debugged the Badi i coudlnt see the relation ship it is picking up . As per the requirement i have to change the standard relation ship and repalce with the new one.

(as per the requirement) . Please could you let me know can you find a relation ship being maintained, if so what is the std relationship beling maintianed.
