thanks you with all the helpful note, i am not here to find information on how the product could be comparable with other but to solve the issue of the PLD which have given us the issue of unable to run and read report from the standard point of view, such as comma Vendor Aging report which could not show posting date (from AP invoice). I am here to help the company to max the product value even they had agree to use the product before i was with the company. I hope you can be helpful and share with me what is the actual system variable or how to read the actual variable from the PLD after the upgrade as number changed.

In fact, when i try to customize the Vendor Statement Report, most of the content show "text" type in format... hope you can understand our need

we are in the mid of implementing the SAP B 1 and mostly we got replied from the partner and was understand that it is the limitation else they have to forward to SAP for further verifying. that really give me the impression of B1 is a low level ERP product.

if you said it is a lower level ERP product, it is not 100% true. before decided to use it, you must know the product itself actually. I mean the questions as follows must be answered:

1. will it fit to my company's business process ?

2. what is the weakness of this product ?

3. how many % customisation/development will be needed ?

4. how skillful and experienced the implementor ?

5. how many companies have used this product and did they satisfy ?

6. does the watchword : "the cheapest product, the lowest quality" apply to it ?

7. how many times in a year, the hotfix, the patch level, the version and the service pack of this product that needed to fix the errors happened are upgraded in a year ?

8. are the upgrading tools needed to pay used ?

Hi Weichen,

You could ask the SAP business partner that implemented the SAP B1 in your company to do that. have you signed a maintenance contract with the partner ?

if not yet, you can discuss with your top management and ask them to sign it. The SAP business partner will help you to solve all problems relate to SAP B1 if you have escalated.

Weichen,

The forum that you have posted your question in is for questions related to the SAP Business One SDK. Your question seems application related to the PLD. While you may get a response in this forum, you may be better served by posting application type questions in the SAP Business One Discussion Forum at ...
