HR Configuration for Beginners

Hi,

I have done ABAP HR and am very good at it. I want to learn Configuration in HR Module. Can I get a step-by-step document for HCM Functional.

Hi,

A lot of times in ABAP you have to read some customizing table. To understand teh global picture of customizing, it's nice to know where the customizing actions are in SPRO.

To find this out, type in the table in SM34, for example T778A, then click on Customizing, in the popup choose Continue w/o Specif... etc.

Now you'll be redirected to the SPRO path of the customizing. Form there read all of the documentation provided by SAP to gain insight in the functional workings of HR.

Hi Ishaq,

For configuration start with Organizational Management... it would be easier to start with... Just go to the the IMG settings and check all the required things in OM.... thats it.... Soon you will learn it...
