Hi friends,
I have few materials with inventory, but without storage locations attached to it. When I run MMBE with storage location = '0001', I don't see the right inventory number. How can I fix this.? Going forward I have fixed the problem by putting a user parameter to default storage location of '0001'. Appreciate your help. This is urgent as its causing some problem with inventory movments.
Thanks
Suri
Hi,
In SAP you cannot have inventory without storage location.
Please can you explain what you mean?
If you have inventory then it will be assigned to a storage location (apart from stock at the subcontractor).
The stock must be sitting in another storage location, run MMBE without entering a storage location and see which location it is in.

Yes.. I think you are correct. I have spot checked couple of materials and found out that they were in transit & not GR'd into the storage location. It was one of our custom report showing stock including pending GR's as available stock , but with blank storage location. Thank you for your help
