Sorry Promotion Management Application is unable to process your request . The Error from the server is : The resources were not exported to LCMBIAR File. Please refer to stack trace ( PRS 00029) .

We are able to export a job successfully if the number of objects are lesser. But in our case number of objects are more than 1000. When we try to export the job containing more than 1000 objects it gives that mentioned error. Sometimes it does not give that error , but the lcmbiar file size is too low( in KB but it should be in MB).

Hi Karrar,

You're likely running out of space in the temporary drive of the BI environment.

1000 objects is a lot of objects and normally we recommend any jobs over around 100 should be done using LCMCLI command line.

You can read more about how to use this in the following KBA:

If you still get the same issue using LCMCLI - I'd recommend using the following KBA to change the temporary directory to somewhere else:

So, what have you done to troubleshoot, investigate ?
Did you search for FWM 10002 and PRS 00029 errors in SAP Knowledge base ?
Reviewed traces ?

There was a note about PRS00029 (KBA 1785445). It is not availble anymore in sap support.

Is it possible to export this number of jobs in promotion management based on its user interface in cmc or should we use command line option.

if you're promoting or exporting more than 200 objects, you should use CLI/command line option.

As to the behavior you see - you probably running out of disk space somewhere...
