Can some one give me step to step process in WORKFLOW.

I am completely new to it.

I need to develop a scenerio where I need the sales order details sent as an email as soon as a sales order is created.

Kindly help me with this.

Hi,

if you have allready modelled the PO Workflow, you can link it in customizing with a simple release strategy, that will be triggered in all possible scenarios of PO creation/change.

For developing rel. strategies, please refer to R/3 documentation. Note, that the PO is only able to notify someone on header level.

Because the PR is allready saved, when the workflow is triggered, the needed data can be loaded from database an put into workflow container variables.

Once, a workitem is created, you can use the report RSWUWFML (up to rel. 4.6c) or RSWUWFML2 (since 6.20) to send out eMail notifications about Workitems (please have a look at these reports and the selection screens.

Because standard email functionality is used, there may be additional requirements in SCOT message node adjustements.

hi

there is BOR is Bus 2032 which is same as workflow for Sales order Creation

and send the mail. create the workflow using the bus2032 and use BOR Selfitem

which send the activity after the step is process. if u find some more clarification pl. put a mail regarding the scenario, I can suggest you how design the steps and workflow can work.
