Grant Master record Sponsored programe need to delete

Hello Experts,

Grant Master record we has assigned wrong sponsored program and we have created document and reversed the document.

Now user is trying to delete the wrongly assigned sponsored program but system is not allowing with this error message "

@5D\QWarning@ Dimension UNASSIGNED has been posted against; deletion not permitted "

Is there any other work around to delete the same.
