Hello Experts,
When I am executing one Info-package it is failing with the error message given below:
Error message from the source system
Diagnosis :
An error occurred in the source system.
System Response:
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis: The error occurred in Extractor . Refer to the error message. Procedure How you remove the error depends on the error message.
What can be the solution of it??
Hi Ispita,
Checked few things in sap bi:
1. check the status of the data source.
2. check source system status.
If data source is inactive then activate it by replication procedure and if source system is inactive then try to activate/restore it based on the access that you have.
If issue related to Source system then can contact to your basis team for it's activation in case of lack of access.

As asked by Mario, did job faile in source system also? The error message you posted seems to be taken from the BI.
Post the error message from source system.
is it standard datasource or custom ?
if it's custom datasource on what it's based on table/View or FM?

I have tried to activate the data source and transfer rule using the programs but it has not solved the issue.
