How to modify EEWB created table

SAP CRM Rls 4.0 at patch level 11

Using SAP Enterprise Portal

All,

We have the need to modify (add another field) to an EEWB generated table which is tied to BUT000. I am looking at EEWB and it appears that I can only re-create the revised table rather than add a single value to the table. Since there are interfaces tied to the data in the EEWB generated tables, re-creating the table could have some serious side effects for interfaces etc.

Please advise.

    Hi Joe,

    There are two ways,

1st is you can run the same extension wizard again and it will allow you to enhance the currently created enhancement, thus you can add a new field to the same.

2nd is you can go and change the newly created table. As the newly created table is a Z table so no problems of access key by SAP and you are no way modifying standards.

Problem with second approach is you will not get the ready made code to populate the field value of newly created field in database, which you will definitly get if you follow the first approach.

      Hi,

I want to enhance a Ztable with a field which is created through EEWB.I tried to enhance the table through the Extension Wizard, but the wizard is not in Editting mode.

How can i get into editing mode, and to enhance the table with the new field.

The solution will be rewarded with points.
