Using EAM when SAP needs to log into customers SAP instances for RCA?

I'm seeking feedback from customers related to how/if you monitor SAP's access when they log into your system for debugging, RCA, etc. Someone has suggested to our project that we use Emergency Access Management (EAM/SPM/Firefighter) and assign Firefighter IDs to SAP. What do you see as the advantages and disadvantages of this approach? If you don't support the EAM process, how have you monitored SAP's activities while logged in to your SAP instances?
