Hi All,

I was wondering what everyone's experiences were of connecting and authenticating against Business Objects server hosted on Microsoft Azure. The application authenticating would be a standard azure hosted web application (i.e. not on a vm) and currently uses code similar to the following

SessionMgr boSessionMgr = new SessionMgr();

return boSessionMgr.Logon(username, password, server, "secEnterprise");

We would also be using other SDK code (getting BO group memberships for the logged on user etc to authenticate web app functionality available to the user)

as well as other SDK code(getting BO group memberships for the logged on user etc to authenticate web app functionality available to the user).

Will this functionality still work in the same way or would this be achieved in a different manner on Azure?

Kind Regards and Thanks in Advance

Conrad

All BOE applications use internally SDK (JAVA and .Net). Above metioned functionality works.

You can use BI Platform REST Services to get session form BOE.
