Planning board , red Square

Hi colleages,

my question is about graphics in planning board

I have orders in the planning board and I don´t know why they have a red square before the order box.

The orders thar don´t have setup operation appear with this red square before the real time of the order.

If the orders hava a specific setuip operation , the red square don´t appear.

I haven´t any planning interval in the resource,

it seems is a float time but I don´t know where is defined.

Have anybody seen this before?

maybe the reason is completely different,

have you found a red square before the box of a production order in the planning board?

Hi Maria,

You need to check the Graphical Object for the Setup Activity (object for which you are seeing the red square) and check the definition of Graphical Element. See what is the definition under Element Type in FORM Routine - here you can have predefined icnon where 10 is square.

All this is in SPRO under PPDS >> Detailed Scheduling >> Settings for DS Planning Board >> Maintain Planning Board Profile.

Its very likely you have some custom Graphical Elements defined.

I´m sorry but there is a missunderstanding,

I don´t know why but sometimes orders are displayed with the red square before and sometimes not.

I don´t find the difference betweeen orders with one operation and with two.

If they have only one operation , the red square is dispalyed. However,if instead of one , the order has two operations ( first setup, second produce) , then the red square is not displayed.

I know is a diificult question without seeing , but do yo have any clue why the setup operation disturbs "red square" ???

Hi Maria,

I have not come across this issue hence difficult to understand.

However based on your explanation the red square comes comes when order has only one operation. Have you checked the DS Planning Board profile to confirm that a combination of Setup followed by Produce activity does not display the red square whereas just a produce acitivty displays red square.

Check the Decision Table for Grpahical Objects for the Planning Board Profile you are using and for Chart 4 which is Operations. It has to be something in the Grpahical Object setting else you need to raise a message to SAP.
