Bank Statement Postings.

Hello SAP Team

My Question is based on Bank Statement Uploaded in SAP

  1. Main Bank (Dr) & Bank Clearing (Cr)
  2. Bank Clearing (Dr) & Customer (Cr)

We have a custom program very similar to FF_5 to upload the bank statements.

I want to understand what time the acc entries will happen

Step 1 - I can understand once the custom program is executed step 1 entry will happen.

Step 2 – This acc entry happen when?

I want to know how it happens in Standard SAP, when will the acc entry posted

FIN (Finance)
electronic bank statement

    If you use the option "post immediately" step one is posted always. Step two is posted if the relevant open item is found (depends on your customizing / exits). If you not use the option nothing is posted.

    As far as I know there is no option to only post area 1 and not area 2.
