How to assign no. range for a specified doc. type

Hi all Guru

" In company code 1000, the number range 01 is missing for the year 2007"

I got the above error msg when I try to create an acquisition (tcode f-90), where to do the setting?

Number ranges depend on the document type configuration.

SAP offers standard document types and number ranges.

Check the copy functionality and copy to your company code.

So in future not only for this posting, you will not have errors for any other type of posting.

go to FBN1 and define the no range for your company code for asset accounting then assign with the master record in AO11
