FI Substitution does not work with CO transaction in S4 HANA?

Hi,

I have created a simple substitution that checks the document type (prerequisite) and substitutes the text field with some constant text.

This works fine when entering through and FI transaction (F-02). But when making a posting through KB15N, the substitution does not work. In HANA, this should ideally work because every CO posting produces and FI entry also.

Also, I cannot use CO substitution because the substitution field in not present in the CO substitution's callup point.

Can anyone tell how to use substitution for KB15N in this case?

I disagree, if the source is from CO posting then FI document need not be created therefore the FI substitution is not activated if its only CO documents. As you have pointed out, if the FI posting is done then your substitution will work. Please continue to use FI posting instead of CO.
