Cost Center Budget Report

Hello Experts,

I am trying to see a standard report if it exists that gives me the Actuals vs Budgets by Cost Center by Period. I looked at the standard report S_ALR_87013648 but it just lumps the actual and budgets and comittments by cost centers. Also, the report does not give me a breakdown by period. For example, i would like it to show me by month Jan, Feb individually if i run it from period 1 to 2.

Just a followup to the question. Is there a table and/or tables that i could use to get me the cost center budget information by periods.

If i could get just the table without the period breakdown then thats fine too.

Budget is not stored period wise. Budgets can be entered only for the year or overall. ypu can also create a additional plan version for 'budget' and use standard reports.

Dear R,

You can use sort and sub-total option in ALV Grid.

You can also copy the standard program in to a custom one will have to modify the layout. You would just need to change the display but not the logic of the program.

Do you know why this cost center budget report S_ALR_87013648 is always showing double the budget amount i entered?

Hi,

The report which you have referred only displays totals for the fiscal year and it will not give details period wise. However, if you drill down on actuals it will give the break up line item wise and this can be sub totalled as it is in ALV format. In case of Budget data the values are entered on annual basis and divided into periods.

Alternative option is to develop a report writer report and we can display the values period wise.

Hi,

I entered $5000 as the cost center budget in t.code KPZ2 however in the cost center budget report S_ALR_87013648 its shown as $10,000 which is double of what i entered.

May i know why is this?
