delta postings in general ledger

Hi all,

Can anyone let me know what is delta posting in general ledger. and any notes on that would help.and wat is incremental posting.

Delta postings are those that occur after a point in time. For example each new posting daily would be delta. It is the change. In BW it is the postings that have not yet been pulled into BW.
