Dynamic Target Directory names

Hi,

I have an odd query,

I have a folder structure like

A

B

C

where I will be picking up 6 files from each folder....when they are dropped off they have to go to s specifcfolder which would be \sap\inbound\TYA_*_* where * and * is a time and date stamp.

How do I create the filename with the date and time stamp ? I can see how i can add the messdage id, interface name etc to it but not the date/time.

And secondly is there a way for each batch of 6 files to create 1 folder ? So if i pick up 6 fiiles today and go to drop them they would be dropped to a folder called sap\inbound\TYA_20170711_16060 and put those 6 files in there ? and if 6 files were created later they would go to sap\inbound\TYA_20170711_200900 ? I am not sure this is possible as the 6 files will be treated seperately ?

Thanks

    Hi Brain,

where I will be picking up 6 files from each folder....when they are dropped off they have to go to s specifcfolder which would be \sap\inbound\TYA_*_* where * and * is a time and date stamp.

You ca use dynamic UDF to have time a datestamp to be populated in receiver channel . Or even you may go for "Add Time Stamp " option which is present in receiver channel if that format is ok for you.

And for your second question you can create dynamic folder with required date.

    Refer the below link :
