Hi Gurus.,
While I am doing with Backflush, an error is coming stating that,
Error in Reading the Reporting Point Data.
Diagosis:
system indicating that, the product Cost Collector created without Reporting Point.
But when i creating the product cost colletor, i never i come across with the option, Reporting Point.
So, Please help me out from this, and share the inputs.
Thanks in Advance.,

Hello Raja,
A prerequisite is that the REM profile (repetitive manufacturing profile, see Customizing repetitive manufacturing) allows reporting points.
If this is the case the reporting points are created when the product cost collector is created AND a preliminary cost estimate to the cost collector is created. The latter can be done during the creation of the product cost collector.

Hi,
check the backflushing options in REM PROFILE
I think you need to define the reporting point backflush as optional
spro-> production -> Repetitive manufacturing--> control data

Hi Nanda.,
Thanks for your response, what you have said is that is already been done, the issue now is.
the system informing that, the Product Cost Collector is not been created with Reporting Points.
How to do that, i did'nt find the option to create the Reproting Points in FF6N.
Please guide me..
Thanks.,
Raja
Hi Raja Shekhar,
The reporting point overview provides you with a statistical overview of all the reporting points of a production version. In this list, the system displays the quantities that have passed through each reporting point, but that have not yet been backflushed. It displays this information for every production version for which reporting points exist.
To access the reporting point overview, select Evaluations ® Reporting points from the main menu of repetitive manufacturing.
You can also use t_code
MF26
for the same.Kindly let me know if this is useful
Thanks!
Hi Raja Shekhar,
The system <b>generates the reporting points when you create a product cost collector for the production version.</b> All operations defined as milestones in the control keys are taken from the routing for detailed planning or, if this does not exist, from rate-based planning. A prerequisite is that the repetitive manufacturing indicator in the production version is selected.
You control the following in Customizing for Product Cost by Period under <b>Run Schedule Headers --> Check Control Data for Repetitive Manufacturing Profiles</b>:
Whether reporting points are to be used for confirmations
Whether activities should be posted
Whether the quantities for the backflush of activities are taken from the standard cost estimate for the material or from the preliminary cost estimate for the product cost collector
Whether an automatic goods receipt is generated at the last reporting point backflush
If the above path seems confusing try T_Code <b>OSP2</b> in Config and set the indicator for Reporting point as mandatory or optional.
Kindly let me know if it is useful.
Thanks
Sofia
Hi Raja,
SAP defines the Reporting Points as "An operation in repetitive manufacturing that is flagged as a milestone in the routing."
So to create Reporting Points follow the following steps:
i)Initially goto the transaction for creating Routing, Say <b>CA01.</b>
II) After entering the selection criteria you will be taken to a screen for defining <b>Task List.</b> Having defined the Task List Place your cursor on the same and click on to the<b> "Operations"</b> Tab
iii) While defining the Operations, we have a field called <b>"Control Key"</b> Place cursor on the same and press F4.
iv)List of Control Key gets displayed. In that choose the Control Key that you would be using and find the field <b>Cnf</b> in that line. Place your cursor on that field <b>Cnf</b> corresponding to the chosen Control key and select
<b>1 Milestone confirmation (not PS/PM)
Once this this selected, then that operation is the Reporting Point.</b>
This is how you create Reporting Point
<b>Kindly let me know if this is useful without fail.</b>
