User decision not seen in uwl

Hi

I have created a customized workflow using user decision with 2 choices for user to select. They can be seen from Business Workplace but not from the UWL. Does anyone know why ?

I am working on workflow with webdynpro,so the user decision make it problem to access the same, make it General task and add the user decision through condition step in the workflow design, that should access through webdynpro program may be ABAP or JAVA.

Are you using standard UD Task TS00008267 in your custom workflow ?

Yes i am using task TS00008267 and it works fine in the portal. However if i use my customized workflow which is a duplicate of TS00008267, it does not work fine in the portal.

When you are using copy of TS00008267 have you changed your configuration XML file or created a new one?

Please re-do <b>UWL Task Registration</b> in your portal(System Administration-System configuration-UWL Administration). Please ask your Portal Techie to do the same.

I did not change any configuration XML file or create new one. Do i need to do that ? I have also last time created a similar user decision task and it works fine in the portal even though i did not perform 'UWL Task Registration' in portal.

Please try this UWL Task Registration and let us know if the same problem persists even after that.

Last time also you had changed the task name..? i mean copied the task?

And you need to perform UWL registration.

I had the same problem....

System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & workflow -> select the line with system Alias "SAP" connector type "Webflow Connector" -> click on "Re-register"

Dear Wend,

The UWL takes some more time to refresh itself as compared to the business workplace, so this might be a reason that you are not able to visulaise the WI simultaneously, secondly check the system that you are using for the UWL, whether all the Work items have been sucessfully registered all or not and also check your user mapping whether you are viewing the UWL for same BWP or not.
