Record absence when payroll is locked

Is there any way we can keep on recording absences even when payroll record is locked for processing?

HI

Inside SAP I dont think so .

We are locking the record for special purpose so that it will not going clash the processing of payroll.

Store outside SAP and update that is the one solution i think.

Thanks for the reply. I understand that locking an employee record is to prevent any inconsistencies. The proposed solution of saving absences somewhere else, and then batch loading into SAP once payroll has been processed, is certainly something that can be looked into.

Hi,

You don't have the option to change the Master record of the employees during the payroll run. Still, if you are using CATS, you can record the Absences.
